If you didn't realize already, this guide will be for Windows. Yes, you CAN put in a PS2 disk into your D: drive and it WILL work from there! This might cause small stutters every once in a while, however. You can get the BIOS using this tool labeled "BIOS Dumper". I will NOT show you how to get BIOS file(s) from the internet. If you are on a Mac, I recommend setting up Boot Camp as a Virtual Machine will NOT work well IF you want to upscale the resolution of the emulation, or in this case, use hardware render.
